We wanted to present the rich and diverse world of traditional folktales from the region. Each episode of the series focuses on a different tale or group of tales, providing a window into the customs, beliefs, and history of the people who have passed them down for generations. The series aims to showcase the unique storytelling traditions of Transylvania, giving viewers a deeper understanding and appreciation of the cultural heritage of the region. The project aimed to explore a wide range of folktales, from well-known stories to lesser-known gems, and from fairy tales to legends. Through interviews with storytellers, folklorists, and experts, the series aimed to provide an in-depth look at the origins, meanings, and significance of these tales and the role they play in shaping the culture of the region.

The project also aimed to document the challenges and opportunities the traditional storytelling scene in Transylvania faces. This project was a unique and compelling way to explore and celebrate the region, preserving the cultural heritage and traditional stories of Transylvania for future generations and sharing the beauty and wisdom of the local folktales with the world.
