Transylvanian Hungarian Films is a non-profit organization located in Székelyudvarhely, Romania. THF’s mission is to develop of the local community and enrich the lives of people in the region, especially young people. Doing activities mainly with help of the potential in films, identifying and many times creating the sense of beauty in the community in order to enrich the community’s cultural life and contributing in socially relevant topics. The THF is doing its activity using different digital tools such as cameras, digital softwares, VR glasses and is open to the newest technological and digital innovations. Briefly, the organisation not only focuses on films but related areas as well, such as innovative technologies, digital education, community development and culture.

The organisation is fairly new as an official entity, but as a group of people working together, the team has years of experience on the professional field and in organising events, activities. THF have activities focusing on youth in the local community: such projects are filmmaking, training, film clubs, film competitions where we have focused on developing young people’s competences, raising their chances on the labour market.
